Commissioner Martin is the current Director of Management at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She has served the Commission for 34 years consecutively in numerous capacities. Her vast institutional knowledge, consistent leadership, and dedication to advancing civil rights for all groups embody the vision of CSSBMB. Commissioner Martin is the Co-founder of the Martin Circle of Hope Foundation. This non-profit provides scholarships for local students, mentorships for families of color, workshops and training seminars, partnerships with local churches, and numerous other community services that aim to support those in need.
